| U.S. Dept of Homeland Security Transportation Security Administration Project |
VIP implements and manages specialized TSA systems including the SSI review request and many document tracking systems. VIP handles, manages, retrieves, extracts, and analyzes document data to produce insightful reports. From our support of TSA's large legal office staff, we are experienced with document numbering and cataloging and file archive processes. VIP has developed specialized reference and training documents related to 49 CFR 1520, SSI. We help make TSA staff more productive through user-friendly business processes, guides, and technical documentation. |

VIP serves as a subcontractor to Accenture on the US-VISIT program. VIP has a large role on two task orders—one for infrastructure design, development, implementation, and integration; and one for operations and maintenance services. |

| U.S. Dept of Housing and Urban Development Katrina Disaster – Housing Assistance Program |
In cooperation with FEMA, VIP worked with HUD to design, develop and deploy a new database application within a three-day period to allow survivors of Hurricane Katrina (and later Hurricanes Rita and Wilma) to apply for public housing anywhere in the United States and to receive immediate placement. |
| U.S. Dept of Housing and Urban Development Inventory Management System (IMS) Operations and Maintenance (O&M) |
VIP performs operations and maintenance services for IMS, one of the largest Windows-based databases in the Federal government. IMS facilitates timely and accurate exchanges of data between Housing Authorities (HAs) and Local HUD Offices. IMS has 11 major modules, contains more than 3 million lines of source code and approximately 300 gigabytes of data. VIP facilitates system integration and user acceptance testing of IMS major and minor releases, and currently provides daily operational support (tier 2 help desk) and deployment of back end data fixes. VIP transitioned this project in 16 days. |
| U.S. Department of Education Crisis Communication Database |
The Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools contracted with VIP to create, enhance and maintain a web-based stand-alone Crisis Communications Database. The system contains pertinent public and private school information from kindergarten through college level, and will be used by authorized parties for crisis management during a disaster or incident. The system includes an information distribution system for communication with these schools as needed. Included is a geographic map display capability that allows schools and other key entities to be located and the relative locations and distance among them to be available. This multi-year project work includes requirements development, design, development, deployment, enhancements, and operations and maintenance. |

VIP provides FSA with a wide range of operations and maintenance (O&M) services with an emphasis on quality and reliability. A key component of this system is the management of access rights for FSA employees, lenders, and guarantor agencies throughout the United States. VIP is responsible for logging and tracking all technical problems, user support, application maintenance and minor enhancements. |

VIP provides independent verification and validation (IV&V) services to support several DOJ developmental programs and projects. Services include the IV&V of project management, system development, and integration activities. VIP will ensure that DOJ projects are planned, resourced, and executed effectively; administrative support requirements are provided; contracted efforts are effectively planned and conducted; project objectives are met within the pricing schedule; and the user community is an integral, participating member of the developmental project life cycle. |
| New York City World Trade Center Litigation Support Contract |
VIP provides program and project management, quality assurance, technical and operations services for the NYC World Trade Center Litigation Support Project. After the events of 9-11, the City of New York suffered thousands of lawsuits. To track all 24 million pieces of environmental, financial, geographic, and legal evidentiary material, the City had to construct a secure data system, which VIP oversees, monitors, and manages. |

VIP provides program and project management, quality assurance, technical and operations services for the NYC 9-11 Electronic Evidencing Project. After the events of 9-11, the City needed a way to make all evidence related to the crisis available to federal, state, local and private officials. VIP oversees, monitors, and manages this effort. |

VIP is one of three vendors that provide infrastructure design, development, integration and implementation of security systems in New York City. This engagement is a five year contract. |
| New York City Police Department (NYPD) – Parking Ticket Device System |
VIP provides a wide range of independent test, validation, verification, and evaluation solutions to the New York City Police Department (NYPD) as it implements its wireless, handheld Parking Ticket Device System (PTDS). VIP is responsible for producing and executing QA test plans, conducting Go-Live assessments, conducting an Electronic Signature and Records Act (ESRA) security assessment and follow-on compliance assessments, and providing bi-weekly status reports and monthly risk reports. |
