VIP Acquires Meridian Knowledge Solutions, Inc.

Visionary Integration Professionals, a national technology solution provider, based in Folsom, has acquired Virginia-based Meridian Knowledge Solutions, Inc., a provider of knowledge Management and e-learning solutions. Jonna Ward, Chief Executive Officer of VIP, had seen a repeated demand from clients for integrated solutions that bring analytics, data and human capital management together. VIP now has the expanded capabilities to offer its clients Meridian 's flagship product, the Meridian KSI Knowledge Centre, an LMS suite that integrates learning content management, knowledge management, and competency modeling functionality. Meridian will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of VIP. Paul Summerville continues to manage Meridian within the VIP enterprise. Although terms of the deal were not disclosed, the acquisition will bring VIP's staff base to more than 500 professionals with 2007 projected revenue of close to $100 million.
