New product training partnerships in India, Latin America and U.S. to deliver hands-on training for Informatica data integration products

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., December 19, 2006—Addressing the growing worldwide demand for skilled data integration professionals, Informatica Corporation (NASDAQ: INFA), a leading provider of data integration solutions, today announced that it is extending its global product education reach by partnering with leading companies in India, Latin America and the United States to deliver specialized training on Informatica products. By teaming with local companies in key geographies, Informatica is making it easier and more cost-effective for customers and systems integrators to leverage expert data integration instruction. The hands-on training with market-leading Informatica data integration products helps them derive maximum value from their Informatica investments.

NIIT, India’s largest IT training company, and Softtek, a leading IT services company headquartered in Brazil, will now deliver Informatica-certified training to Informatica customers and partners in India and Latin America respectively. Long-time Informatica partner, Visionary Integration Professionals (VIP), formerly Core Integration, a top IT solutions provider in the U.S., will deliver the same services to customers in the Denver and Rocky Mountain area. All three companies will provide corporate and public (open to all IT professionals) training courses taught by Informatica-certified educators on the full range of Informatica’s data integration, data quality and metadata solutions.
