SACRAMENTO, CA – May 19, 2006 – Visionary Integration Professionals, a Folsom-based information technology and management consulting firm, has been working with California counties to meet compliance with the Help America Vote Act of 2002, which is requiring jurisdictions across the country to modernize their voting programs. The act requires that all jurisdictions replace punch-card and lever voting systems and adopt voting systems that are fully accessible to disabled voters and that are capable of generating a permanent paper record that can be manually audited. VIP has provided support to 11 California counties, managing a wide range of activities from the procurement of electronic voting systems to the overall program management and implementation of the selected systems.
