Network and Telecommunications Solutions
VIP offers a wide range of Network and Telecommunication services. If you are considering changes to your enterprise system, investing in new services or products, or wishing to maximize the functionality of what you already have in place, VIP can help you make the optimal business decision.

VIP has an extensive knowledge of all major network carrier services and equipment platforms including Cisco, Avaya, Tandberg, and Nortel.  However, VIP is not a reseller of any of these products.  This allows VIP the ability to offer its clients independent and unbiased advice focused strictly on the best solutions to meet the their needs. The following services can be tailored to meet each client’s unique needs.

Network (LAN/WAN) Health Assessments will advise clients on how to optimize their network by identifying and removing bottlenecks, improving bandwidth utilization and implementing more efficient management and maintenance.

Network Security Assessments will assess security capabilities and vulnerabilities of the client’s network to determine the current state of information security policies, security procedures and processes, and architecture and technology. VIP will establish targets and recommendations for improvement by levels of risk utilizing the NIST Security Assessment Framework.

Acquisition and Implementation Support will conduct a needs assessment, create a request for proposal to meet the client’s specific requirements, and provide project management for the implementation of the selected system.

Feasibility Studies and Cost/Benefit Analysis will review and analyzes potential alternative solutions that meet clients’ defined requirements. VIP constructs measures of the costs and benefits of solutions to determine the best available solution to meet the clients’ needs.

Project Management will establish a project management office specific to a large project or for the support of numerous initiatives.  This can include the implementation of project management software, establishing the infrastructure (people, processes and technology) to oversee projects, and establishing an onsite help desk.  VIP will provide the resources and expertise to implement and support these functions. 
VIP can provide the resource and tools to manage a specific initiative or provide day to day support.  Support can includes the development of a comprehensive project plan that will identify the scope of work, roles and responsibilities, timelines, risks and contingencies.

ITIL Service Management: ITIL certified consultants to review, design, develop and implement a Service Management program to stabilize and control the functions of IT infrastructure. Full system development lifecycle services cover needs analysis, requirements analysis, design, development, implementation, training, and support. 

Other services available:

  • Voice Applications Script Definition, Translation and Recording. VIP will redesign or expand the capabilities of your voice mail and IVR functions with the entire lifecycle of implementation from initial planning through voice recordings using professional voice talent to ongoing maintenance and support.
  • Legacy PBX: Maximize the significant investment in legacy TDM technology. VIP can help you get the full benefit of the functionality and effectiveness of existing legacy systems.
  • Video Conferencing. When faced with decreased budgets and increased costs for business travel, VIP can help organizations design and deploy an IP video conferencing solution over your network to provide real-time collaboration, training, and interactive communications.
  • On-Site Outsourcing of Telecommunication functions. VIP offers clients as little as a part-time specialist who offers advice on how to define a Network Strategic Plan to fully-out-sourcing your entire telecommunications department.
