PowerCenter 8.x - Level I Developer - 4 day(s)

This four-day, instructor-led course exposes the core features of Informatica PowerCenter 8.0 to 8.6 through lecture, hands-on exercises, and workshops.  In addition to gaining tremendous insight into the data integration platform, students will be exposed to Informatica Velocity Best Practices.  Topics covered include:  PowerCenter terminology and architecture, mapping fundamentals, workflow fundamentals, expression and filter transformations, joining and merging data, lookup transformations, aggregator and sorter transformations, updating target tables, using the debugger, mapping techniques, mapplets and worklets, and controlling workflows.
