Jonna Ward, CEO/President
Jonna Ward is the CEO of VIP. Jonna founded VIP in 1996 by establishing a clear vision to provide superior service for her customers. The successful execution of this vision is best evidenced by VIP’s proven track record of repeat business that constitutes 84.2% of VIP’s revenue. Through Jonna’s strategic, operational, and financial leadership, she created and transformed VIP from a company operating out of her back bedroom with one employee (herself) to a global consulting firm with over 800 staff, a backlog of revenue beyond 2012, and over 900 clients spanning various commercial sector industries as well as federal, state, and local government. As the CEO and Founder of one of the fastest growing companies in America, as ranked by INC Magazine, Jonna founded VIP by leveraging her unwavering commitment to client satisfaction and by using her innate ability to balance insight and ideals with tactical action and results. Prior to founding VIP, Jonna was an executive with Accenture where she implemented mega-sized systems focused on increasing revenue, maximizing performance, and streamlining processes for some of the largest entities in the United States. Jonna is well-known for her charity involvement and for her active participation in government reform activities.
Joe Golden, Executive Vice President
Joe Golden is the Executive Vice President of VIP’s Commercial Division. Joe brings over 27 years experience leading high-performing teams for both global IT service firms and high-growth entrepreneurial enterprises. He is a recognized leader in information technology and business process outsourcing, having created many long-term relationships across multiple industries including manufacturing, financial services, telecom, and retail. As a strong proponent of process excellence and innovation, Joe’s teams have helped many clients achieve the highest levels of process excellence as measured by industry standards such as CMMi, ISO, ITIL, and Agile methods and application simulation. Prior to joining VIP, Joe was a partner at a global private equity and advisory firm focusing his efforts toward investments in cloud computing software and services. Prior to that, Joe was an executive for Keane, where he led a global team providing business process and application services and for EDS where he held positions of increasing responsibility beginning as a systems engineer and progressing to become Vice President of the Diversified Industries Division.
Tim McCormick, Executive Vice President
Tim McCormick is the Executive Vice President of VIP’s Government Division. Tim brings over 25 years experience building and managing high-performing public sector teams. He has national name recognition for his demonstrated success in market and deal strategy formulation and execution. As Executive Vice President of Government Solutions, Tim is responsible for expanding and leading our federal, state, and local government practice. Prior to joining VIP, Tim was engaged as an advisor and consultant with most of the major large system integrators, coaching them on strategy formulation and capture management. Prior to that, Tim worked for several of the nation’s leading technology companies including SAP, Oracle, IBM, and Unisys with responsibilities spanning federal, state, and local government. As Vice President of Sales at SAP, Tim managed a team responsible for sales to state and local government. Tim is a nationally-recognized leader with a deep understanding of the public sector environment, expertise in national federal programs and the impact on economic stimulus, and many years selling and delivering technology solutions to government.
Patti Bennion, Chief Financial Officer
Patti Bennion is the Chief Financial Officer for VIP. Patti brings over 20 years of business and financial experience. As Chief Financial Officer, she oversees the accounting processes, financial analysis, and financial reporting requirements for the VIP enterprise. Prior to joining VIP, Patti spent over eight years in key accounting and financial analysis roles with progressive and diverse responsibilities. In addition, Patti brings a unique blend of skills having been a consultant for over eight years with a large system integrator implementing SAP financial management solutions for a diverse set of commercial and government clients.
Steve Carpenter, Vice President
Steve Carpenter is the Vice President of Legal, Administration, and Risk Mitigation. Steve brings over 24 years of progressive, diverse corporate operations experience. Areas of expertise include human resources, contract administration, corporate legal compliance, mergers and acquisitions, purchasing and procurement, business process design and implementation, facilities management, and technical operations. Prior to joining VIP, Steve performed similar functions for a large system integration and public accounting firm. Steve brings a unique background and combination of capabilities that have served VIP well for 13 years. .
