VIP was engaged by the Client to set up the technical infrastructure and do development for a Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse environment. VIP defined, developed, and deployed the reporting solution for the Point-Of-Sale Customer Master Data. The initial goal was to deploy reports and analytics to a strategic audience while adding new data and enhanced reporting capabilities.
VIP was responsible for driving requirements gathering for both BI and Data with the business and IT groups. We created data models, mappings, and were responsible for Data Architecture. In addition, we provided support and QA through the deployment to ensure correct Reports and Analytics are created.
From a BI perspective VIP was responsible for setting up the infrastructure and Architecture for the database, OLAP, Integration and Reporting components. In addition, we created all required Data Objects, ETL Mappings, Cubes and Reports based on project requirements. We were responsible for all unit testing and deployment.
