Our government client undertook a multi-year, multi-million dollar project to replace current court technology and supporting infrastructure. The system focused on integrating multiple commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products including case management, calendaring, cashiering, document management, scanning and imaging, data reporting and analysis, and business intelligence tools. A core component of the solution involved updating obsolete desktop hardware with industry standard equipment. Other key aspects of the new system included an enterprise relational database system and integration with existing systems and business functions.
VIP provided Project Management consulting services for the Project. Adhering to industry standards and best practices such as Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), VIP was responsible for the overall, day-to-day execution, and management of all phases of the project. VIP provided all deliverables in a timely manner and assisted with risk mitigation and contingency planning to minimize the impact of the risks. We developed of an overall project management plan and supporting plans, and ensured that the project delivered the correct scope, on time and within budget. VIP managed both internal client teams and external teams of vendors hired by our client in the procurement, development and integration of the solution. VIP effectively guided the project team through the many challenges and continued to support the project with project management services as it was implemented.
