Summary Description
The Client is a longstanding customer of VIP. The NetWeaver Infrastructure Practice was engaged to come on-site and discuss the Client's infrastructure and the demands placed on it by both new projects and ongoing production support loads. As a result of that meeting, MyITgroup created a strategic document to assess and supplement support where required. The report covered staffing, hardware-infrastructure, and software requirements.
The Client engaged us to bring in a Senior Architect familiar with the NetWeaver product suite to interview staff, assess hardware, and develop a Strategic-planning document that would provide guidance for a 24-month event horizon. The document mapped the Client's current state and projects for the next 2 years, including a major CRM implementation. It included recommendations for what changes the Client needed to make in order to support the projects and the existing systems. This included staffing changes, supplements to support these projects, additional hardware required, as well as a recommendation to implement SAP’s Solution Manager Enterprise Management application.
Overall, the customer was pleased at the level of expertise we provided to their planning efforts and to support their present and future SAP initiatives. Further, they were happy that we could produce a C-Level document to deliver to their executive committee showing technical requirements for the business initiatives that supported their strategic planning efforts and budgetary cycle.
