VIP Forms Alliance of 20 Texas Small Businesses
Houston, TX, May 11, 2009 – Visionary Integration Professionals, LLC (VIP) has launched an alliance of 20 Texas-based small businesses to provide information technology services to Texas government organizations. These business partners are woman and/or minority owned and are certified as Texas Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUBs).
“We believe in Texas and Texas companies. We also believe in the strong work ethic and capability of small businesses,” said Jonna Ward, President and CEO of VIP.
In March, VIP was awarded the Deliverables-Based Information Technology Services (DBITS) contract by the State of Texas. Under the contract, VIP and its alliance of 20 Texas small businesses may sell a variety of services including project management, enterprise resource planning (ERP), and application development.
“Through this alliance,” said Patty Nelson, Vice President of Government Services, “we are able to provide a broad range of services in every part of Texas through these small businesses. VIP started as a small company and so we want to give back and promote other small companies.”
Over the years, VIP and its alliance members have supported a host of Texas government agencies and Texas-based large businesses. “We look forward to continuing and expanding this service,” said Nelson.
