VIP Wins Additional Strategic Contract in Texas

Houston, TX, September 29, 2009- Visionary Integration Professionals LLC (VIP), a global information technology solutions provider, has been awarded a master service agreement by the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) to provide technology solutions to meet the business needs of Texas government. This accomplishment significantly contributes to VIP’s commitment to expand its presence in the State of Texas. With this award, VIP is now an approved vendor to provide technology solutions to State agencies, cities, counties, public school districts, and universities throughout Texas.

To illustrate its commitment to contribute to the Texas state economy, VIP presented DIR with a team that includes 10 Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB). These companies will work with the VIP team to provide highly qualified resources in support of staff needs across the State. Under this contract, VIP is committed to meet or exceed the annual HUB subcontracting goal of 33%.

“We are proud to receive the Texas DIR award,” said Patty Nelson, Vice President of Government Services. “We have been actively talking with Texas government agencies to understand how we can help them. This contract is one more path to providing services using an effective and convenient procurement process.”

In addition to this newly awarded contract, just this past March, VIP was awarded the Deliverables-Based Information Technology Services (DBITS) master services agreement by the State of Texas. Under the DBITS contract, VIP and its alliance of 20 Texas small businesses may sell a variety of services including project management, enterprise resource planning (ERP), and application development.
