Informatica Upgrades

VIP has had the privilege of working on more than twenty five (25) Upgrade projects. There are typically three stages to an Upgrade: the physical upgrade, testing, and mentoring and knowledge transfer. Prior to an Upgrade, VIP engages in a Pre-Upgrade process. Through the pre-upgrade process we work with our client to better understand the existing environment, versions, hardware, software, Informatica details, and goals of the Upgrade. Based on the information obtained during the Pre-Upgrade, we recommend a specific course of action, and an estimated length of the engagement.

Informatica Center of Excellence (CoE)

The Informatica platform provides many avenues of integration within (and outside of) an organization.  Our Informatica CoE Services help organizations to align the platform capabilities with the business need.  Through our offering we are able to help customers assess and align areas such as Architecture and Configuration, Design and Development Standards, Mapping/Workflow Strategies, Repository Management, Component Strategy (GRID, Team Development, etc), Performance and Tuning, and integration with other technologies.
