Network Services
Network (LAN/WAN) Health Assessments will advise clients on how to optimize their network by identifying and removing bottlenecks, improving bandwidth utilization and implementing more efficient management and maintenance.
Network (LAN/WAN) Support Services. VIP’s network operations approach provides the enterprise with a low-risk solution by making maximum use of technology tools and qualified individuals who have hands-on experience with server and network infrastructure. Our network support services include readiness assessments; SLA requirements development and recommendation; operations, management/mentoring; development of standard operating procedures, methodologies and process flows; and implementation/upgrade support.
Network Security Assessments. We will assess security capabilities and vulnerabilities of the client’s network to determine the current state of information security policies, security procedures and processes, and architecture and technology. We will establish targets and recommendations for improvement by levels of risk utilizing the NIST Security Assessment Framework.
Enterprise Services
Information Security Risk Assessment Services. We help clients make informed choices about security needs by evaluating current “as-built” enterprise security technology. Then provide detailed technical assessments of the technology infrastructure, enterprise applications, and security management procedures and where potential gaps exist.
Enterprise Security Programs. We help clients through the strategic process of creating a security program tailored for their particular organization. We understand that a security program is more than a compilation of hardware and software. Instead, it must focus on the triad of People, Processes, and Technology.
Enterprise Security Architecture Services. We help clients construct or rehabilitate their Enterprise Security Architecture. We utilize industry “Leading Practices”, such as ISO 17799, ITIL, NIST, and SANS Institute best practices to implement secure architectures encompassing technologies such as Identity Management, Web Service Based Entitlement Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Network Access Control (NAC), Perimeter Security, Authentication, Authorization, PKI, Reporting, and Systems Management. Penetration Study Services. VIP helps clients secure their enterprise and its essential business data repositories by simulated attacks on defenses. Using “blackhat” and “whitehat” techniques, VIP identifies targets and launch controlled exploits against existing security controls. They provide substantive proof of vulnerabilities and recommend effective countermeasures.
Network & Telecommunication Management Consulting Services
Project Management. VIP will provide the resources and expertise to establish a project management office specific to a large project or for the support of numerous initiatives. This can include the implementation of project management software, establishing the infrastructure (people, processes and technology) to oversee projects, and establishing an onsite help desk. VIP will provide the resources and expertise to implement and support these functions. For a specific project, VIP can provide the resources and tools for day to day support including the development of a comprehensive project plan that will identify the scope of work, roles and responsibilities, timelines, risks and contingencies.
Acquisition and Implementation Support. We will conduct a needs assessment, create a request for proposal to meet the client’s specific requirements, and provide project management for the implementation of the selected system.
Feasibility Studies and Cost/Benefit Analysis. We will review and analyze potential solutions that meet clients’ defined requirements. We construct measures of the costs and benefits of various alternatives to determine the best available solution to meet the clients’ needs.
Other Services
