Testing Center of Excellence
Developing a testing Center of Excellence is no small undertaking. Where do you start, what do you change first, how do you measure success? These are all questions VIP can help you find the answer to. We start with an assessment to deliver an objective evaluation of your current quality practices. After all, if a process is working well, why change it? Post assessment, VIP will help define your quality goals and provide recommendations on how you can improve to meet those goals. VIP will then develop repeatable processes that can be used throughout the software development lifecycle to realize your testing Center of Excellence goals.
VIP’s assessment process includes the following activities:
- Review current quality management culture, including lifecycle processes, procedures and tools.
- Evaluate sample project deliverables to determine the level of compliance with current processes.
- Evaluate test environments and tools usage through an analysis of standards, processes and capabilities including test process management, manual, automation, and performance testing.
- Provide recommendations for improving your quality management processes.
- Assist you in defining next steps to follow-through on achieving your quality goals.
