Application Lifecycle Management / Quality Center 11, 10, or 9.2

Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) is a unified platform for the management and execution of application lifecycle activities, from project planning and requirements definition to test planning, test execution and defect management.  HP ALM expands the Quality Center (QC) platform with enhanced functionality to facilitate greater collaboration and reuse of collateral across multiple stakeholders.  This four-day workshop teaches students to effectively utilize the core features of QC/ALM so they can take full advantage of the tool’s potential within their organization. Hands-on lab exercises throughout the course demonstrate key topics and ensure the student is intimately familiar with the tool’s capabilities. Classes are led by certified instructors who have real world experience at administering QC/ALM. The workshop introduces students to the capabilities and best practices for establishing a framework to manage releases, requirements, test cases, and defects.  Topics covered during this course include: release management, requirements management, test case and test case execution management, reporting and metrics, dashboards, and versioning.  Optionally, an additional fifth workshop day can be added to cover a number of other topics including:  Sprinter, cross-project reporting, site and project administration, work flow customization, user administration, and custom project reporting. Quality Center 10 and 9.2 Workshops are also available.
